Bonfires of Passion

Mosquito Dog is the one plot that has been pre-market tested.  The mentors at AWAI would be proud of this!  I sent some ideas in preparation of an early incarnation of Mosquito Dog to a friend of mine who lives in Texas.  She took it right to her 2nd grade class and read it to them! 

Of course I was mortified.  I was no where close to having this type of exposure, and to my chagrin, the kids loved the story.  They went on to draw all sorts of pictures of Mosquito Dog and even sent other ideas for plots along.

I then read the same excerpt to a few of my friends who had come over for drinks in the hot afternoon sun.  They were soon laughing so hard they had tears running down their faces and holding their sides.

Once you've read a Mosquito Dog story, you can't go back.  They are as addictive as a Saturday Morning cartoon.  Thats my criteria.  If it is as addictive as a Saturday Mroning cartoon, like Tweety and Sylvester, then it can be an official story.

F.A.Q.

•  What is Mosquito Dog?  -- Mosquito Dog is a plain ordinary everyday brown short tailed Dashound who runs around with his side kick, Barks a Lot.  Barks a Lot is a 19 y/o black and white spotted toy poodle with a lion mane's haircut.
• What superpower does Mosquito Dog have?  -- Mosquito Dog has the power to invoke the cooperation of the Infinite Mosquito Horde, but only when he is in his gorgeous non penetrating super hero spandex!
• Where did he get his super hero spandex?  -- Mosquito Dog travelled to NYC to interview with Stan Lee during the original "Who wants to be a superhero?" episodes.  He did not make the cut as they were looking for humans, but he did get as a nice consolation prize his own set of super spandex!
• What about Barks a Lot?  -- He is a refugee from the Super Hero retirement home!  He has his own super spandex.
• Does Mosquito Dog have any nemisis?  -- Yes, the Calico Maurader lives next door and has promised to make life miserable whenever possible for our super hero.
• Does the Infinite Mosquito Horde have any nemisis?  -- Yes, they are constantly at war with the Yellow Fever Druggers and the West Nile Sneaks.  It is a fight to the death among mosquito gangs!
• Does the Calico Maurader have any side kicks?  -- Yes, he has the yeowl henchmen.
